Sasha Bob is the pseudonym of a Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Rachytskyi, who was born in 1986. Currently based in Bila Tserkva—a city rich in history, founded by Yaroslav the Wise—Oleksandr’s works reflect his deep fascination with Ukrainian culture and heritage.
For Sasha Bob, creative freedom is paramount; he resists defining himself by specific boundaries or aesthetic styles.
Interestingly, despite being left-handed, he often paints with his right hand.
His artistic inspiration comes from the world around him—films, music, literature, personal experiences, and childhood memories. Sasha’s works exist on the precipice between his intuitive perception and reality.
“All the images I depict are inspired by both childhood recollections and the present. My aim is to reveal them intuitively, without preliminary sketches. I want to capture them quickly—just as I feel them.”
Oleksandr resides and works in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine.
