Yevhen Lisniak is a dedicated Ukrainian artist who, after growing up in his country’s industrial heartland, yearned to relocate to a more romantic city.
Since then, he has pursued a career as a professional painter. His abstract works are distinguished by a unique manipulation of space, color, shape, and depth.
“My paintings are my biography. I draw inspiration from the events that shape my life. I choose to work with abstraction so that the meaning remains open to interpretation; it intrigues me more that way.” (Yevhen Lisniak)
Born in 1994 in Kryvyi Rih, Yevhen studied in Lviv and Kyiv. He currently lives and works in Kyiv.
